Join us for a fun, family-friendly Halloween event with some of our resident owls! Meet the owls and discover the science behind some of the behaviours that have made them seem mysterious and spooky for centuries. From silent flight and incredible eyesight to head turning and nocturnal behaviour — are owls really spooky, or is it all science? After the owl talk, it’s time to get creative with pumpkin carving, Halloween crafts and building your very own spooky owl skeleton. A hands-on afternoon of owls, science and Halloween fun, perfect for curious young owl lovers aged 5+.
