Weebles was my first owl and the reason it all started. Weebles can be a little shy and has been with me since 6 weeks old. Barn owls are native to this country and you will often hear Barn owls screech.
Twiggy tAwny owl
Twiggy has been with me since she was 4 weeks old. Tawny owls make the traditional “twit twoo” noises and are also native to this country.
Marmite black barn owl
Marmite is a melanistic barn owl and because of their unusual colour you won’t see them in the wild. Marmite was bred in Lincoln and been with me since 4 weeks of age.
Bubble and Squeak southern white faced owls
These arrived at 2 weeks old and are brothers. They certainly are a striking pair and have amazing characters. These are a very cheeky pair indeed. This species of owl are native to Africa.
Loki AFRICAN spotted eagle oWl
Loki was hatched to a breeding pair of owls that had been rescued and came to me at 4 weeks. They are native to Africa and she can have the most amazing hoooooo hoooooo hoot. Loki often likes to strut around rather than fly.
All of the owls below have been hand reared and imprinted from early age so are very friendly and like being handled.
Yogi and BOO BOO Indian Scops
Yogi and Boo Boo are the youngest and smallest of our owls and hatched 24th April and are native to South Asia. It’s very exciting to see how they develop and grow.
Meet OUR rescue owls
DUFFY EUROPEAN EAGLE OWL Duffy is 13 years old and came to us due to unfortunate circumstances in Oct 2023. He really is the most gentle distinguished gentleman.
OZZIE GREAT HORNED OWL Ozzie came to us when he was just 17 weeks old. He had been moved around 4 times before settling with us. He was very aggressive, mistrusting and extensive feather damage. He is doing really well and is no longer aggressive although a very cheeky mischievous character
COOKIE MONSTER EUROPEAN EAGLE OWL Cookie came to us at 5 months old with absolutely no glove training which means we are still undergoing training. It’s very important for an owl to feel safe on the glove as it helps when we need to carry out health checks or move them from the avairy and of course when they are given opportunity to fly.
