The Owl Care & Welfare Academy online course and practical courses are NOT a qualification and does not certify or endorse owl ownership. It is intended as a general guidance resource to help people understand what is involved in caring for owls and the level of responsibility required. While owl ownership is not something we actively recommend, the reality is that people will continue to keep owls until legislation changes. This course exists to ensure that those individuals are better informed, aware of welfare needs, and equipped with knowledge that prioritises the owl’s health, wellbeing, and quality of life.
