“This is an amazingly rare and precious opportunity to spend time with incredible creatures in the presence of someone who knows all there is to know about owls. Sitting for a long period with an owl is something us and our participants will never forget. The therapeutic value of this activity cannot be understated. Everyone dropped into a deep sense of calm and connectedness and some have even felt better able to access that space after the experience was over. Highly recommended!”

What is Mindful Owl Connection experience? Sessions start in late March/April
Mindful owl Connection experience is a session that incorporates human - owl interaction to promote positive emotions. Participants are invited to spend calm respectful time with owls in a peaceful outdoor space. The focus is on observation, presence and quiet connection with nature and is accessible to both adults and children. Guests may sit or walk within a safe area while watching owl's behaviour. this encourages mindfulness, curiosity and a deeper appreciation for these remarkable birds.
Handling or flying within this time are never expected or forced. Interaction only takes place if the owl freely chooses to engage, ensuring experience remains respectful, ethical and guided by owl's comfort and well being.
The session includes a safety brief and all equipment needed is supplied. These sessions can be tailored to suit each individual or group.
Animals provide an easy nonverbal and non judgemental environment and can promote responsibility and social functioning. Owls can help build positive social skills and relationships in a variety of ways. Owls promote empathy and compassion that teaches care for another living creature. Children can translate these skills into their day-to-day interactions with other people. For children who are shy or have a hard time in social settings, animals be a great starting point to get them comfortable with social interactions.
What to Expect
Your session is a calm, nature-based experience designed to support relaxation and gentle connection. We begin with time to settle into the space. You’ll spend time quietly observing and, where appropriate, interacting with the owls at a slow and respectful pace. There is no pressure to talk or share anything personal. I am present throughout to ensure safety, animal welfare, and a calm environment. These sessions are wellbeing and educational experiences, not therapy or medical treatment. You’re welcome to arrive just as you are.
