All of these stories are based on true life of how these owls came into our care at Owl Enlightment. All illustrations in this book are created using real photographs of our owls. At our sanctuary, we are dedicated to animal welfare, restraint free and positive handling and giving every owl the respect and patience they deserve. We teach young people and families how to care for animals with kindness, understanding and compassion. Every book purchased helps to support out work of rescuing and caring for captive bred owls who are no longer wanted, neglected or in need of a safe home. We provide education and positive messages to children and the community, creating a better future for owls through understanding, empathy and love. These stories reminds us all that with patience, care and a second chance , anyone can spread their wings and fly again.
